deadmau5 to Premiere Two Previously Unreleased Songs

Thursday, March 29, at 10:00 AM on KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic

deadmau5, in anticipation of this weekend’s sold-out concerts at L.A.’s Wiltern, stops by KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic on Thursday, March 29, at 10:00 a.m., to premiere previously unreleased orchestral versions of two songs “coelacanth (ov)” and “strobe (ov).” The iconic electronic music veteran, joined by Gregory Reveret, who served as composer and music director for the project, will discuss “where’s the drop,” a new album and live concert experience that re-imagines pieces of his catalogue with full orchestration.

Tune in to hear the song premieres and interview at 10:00 a.m. PDT, on air, or at KCRW.com.

Morning Becomes Eclectic, hosted by KCRW Music Director Jason Bentley, is the station’s signature daily music program (9:00 AM – Noon) featuring new releases from emerging and established artists, underappreciated gems, live performances and interviews.
