deadmau5 to Premiere Two Previously Unreleased Songs
Thursday, March 29, at 10:00 AM on KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic
deadmau5, in anticipation of this weekend’s sold-out concerts at L.A.’s Wiltern, stops by KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic on Thursday, March 29, at 10:00 a.m., to premiere previously unreleased orchestral versions of two songs – “coelacanth (ov)” and “strobe (ov).” The iconic electronic music veteran, joined by Gregory Reveret, who served as composer and music director for the project, will discuss “where’s the drop,” a new album and live concert experience that re-imagines pieces of his catalogue with full orchestration.
Tune in to hear the song premieres and interview at 10:00 a.m. PDT, on air, or at KCRW.com.
Morning Becomes Eclectic, hosted by KCRW Music Director Jason Bentley, is the station’s signature daily music program (9:00 AM – Noon) featuring new releases from emerging and established artists, underappreciated gems, live performances and interviews.
