KCRW Celebrates a Year in Podcasts

KCRW Celebrates a Year in Podcasts

Hear standout shows from some of our featured podcasts below.

KCRW currently hosts 26 news, music, talk, and storytelling podcasts, including the recently relaunched Morning Becomes Eclectic podcast and The Spin-Off, a monthly TV-centric roundtable from KCRW’s The Business.

A leader in creating digital-first programming, KCRW this year debuted The Organist, a joint venture with San Francisco publishing house McSweeney’s, with experimental arts-and-culture programming driven by editors of the award-winning magazine, the Believer.

It is one of a handful of popular KCRW shows available exclusively or primarily online. This includes DnA, an exploration of design and architecture, the storytelling series Strangers, the new This… Is Interesting podcast from Matt Miller, and Sonic Trace, a multi-platform project tracing people living in the heart of Los Angeles to their origins in Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala and Honduras. KCRW’s first online-only show, the Guest DJ Project, celebrated its 5-year anniversary this year.
