WHAT:
Last week, Ladysmith Black Mambazo was able to perform a concert in an empty Royce Hall before safely returning to South Africa. UCLA’s Center for the Art of Performance (CAP UCLA) recorded their performance with three camera operators, a few staff, and a modest yet passionately committed crew, just before increased public health measures came into place. KCRW, in collaboration with CAP UCLA, is proud to present this exclusive concert on-air and online.
