Los Angeles public radio station KCRW is relaunching its popular Morning Becomes Eclectic audio podcast, a free download that includes highlights from recent live band performances on the station’s signature music show.

Each edition of the newly revamped podcast, hosted by Music Director and MBE host Jason Bentley, will feature a selection of songs from three artists. The first podcast features LA’s own electro-pop dynamos Big Black Delta, UK rockers White Lies, and acclaimed Tuareg guitarist Bombino.

A new 45-minute podcast will be posted every other Monday.

The podcast is currently featured on iTunes and is also available through KCRW.com and your favorite apps, including Stitcher, TuneIn, Swell, and KCRW’s radio app.

“Our live performances in studio present a rare forum for bands – both new and established – to play their hearts out for the audience. There’s something special about live radio that makes for some truly amazing music moments,” said Bentley.

KCRW currently hosts 24 other news, talk and music podcasts, including Left Right and Center, To The Point, The Business, and Today’s Top Tune, our free daily song download.
