Evening Features LA Premiere of Google Lunar XPRIZE Film, “Back To The Moon For Good”
LOS ANGELES (April 2, 2014) — XPRIZE and KCRW launched today the LOOP Lounge Series, which gives people the opportunity to connect in-person with innovators who are leading radical, technological breakthroughs for the benefit of humanity.
The first event will be held on April 15th at YouTube Space LA and will feature the Los Angeles Premiere of the 24-minute Google Lunar XPRIZE Film, “Back To The Moon For Good,”, followed by a panel discussion on the future of space and ocean exploration with:
- Philippe Cousteau, Jr, CNN correspondent and EarthEcho International co-founder
- Will Pomerantz, vice president for special projects at Virgin Galactic
- Kevin Lieber, host of YouTube channel Vsauce
- Leo Camacho, head of outreach for Google Lunar XPRIZE
Guests will also enjoy music from KCRW DJ Eric J. Lawrence, as well as an open bar, games, and opportunity to mingle and meet the panelists and other Los Angeles innovators.
