Wednesday, May 13, My Morning Jacket’s first public performance of songs from their new album was in front of an enthusiastic crowd of adoring fans at Mack Sennett Studio in LA for KCRW. We’ll broadcast highlights from the show on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Thursday, May 14, LA’s own Best Coast has taken big strides with their third release. They still have a sun-drenched SoCal pop songs but they incorporate psychedelic fuzz for a bigger rock sound that is stadium-bound.
