Fortunately, a couple affordable restaurant options are popping up. Matt Kettmann, editor at the Santa Barbara Independent and Wine Enthusiast, stopped by this week to talk about two restaurants offering dishes ten bucks or less.

Matt’s picks this week:

    • Globe (18 E. Cota St.) looks like a lounge and offers casual eats for an affordable price. He liked the chicken wings, steak bites and salads.
    • Park Place Deli (403 Pueblo St.) is owned (and basically subsidized) by neighbor Cottage Hospital, which means you can find great fresh sandwiches and salads for about $6 bucks.
