Daniel Weintraub, from the California Health Report talks about why the Affordable Care Act is a “very big deal” here in California – more than anywhere else in the US. After the government bureaucracy and website problems are ironed out, people will be able to evaluate the law for its merits as a policy. “There are millions of people in California who have not had health insurance, who are now going to be covered,” says Weintraub.
