That depends on who you ask. Reaction has been mixed to Rizzo’s surprise decision to acknowledge guilt in the corruption scandal. Rizzo will be sentenced to between 10 and 12 years in prison and he’ll have to pay back the city up to $3 million. Rizzo says his assistant – Angela Spaccia – was the mastermind of the corruption. She’s due to go on trial next week…Governor Jerry Brown has signed a bill requiring that state officials give journalists five days’ notice before they subpoena reporters’ phone records. The bill was introduced after stories broke that the U.S. Justice Department had retrieved telephone logs for reporters at the Associated Press…And finally, a good start for the Dodgers in their divisional playoff match-up against the Atlanta Braves. The Dodgers won 6-1 as Clayton Kershaw struck out a dozen Braves and Adrian Gonzalez slugged a homerun. Game 2 of the best of five series starts at 3 p.m. today.
