A new Pew report shows that the Hispanic population in Los Angeles County has doubled in the last 20 years. The interactive map reveals that in 1980 27.6 percent of Los Angeles County’s population was Hispanic  2011 it was 48.1 percent. Nine percent of the of the nation’s Hispanic population lives in Los Angeles County.
