Next Monday, President Barack Obama will raise his right hand and take the oath of office for a second term in office. He’ll have another four years to accomplish his national policy agenda. But what exactly should that agenda be? What issues and problems must President Obama focus on? And how much work is left undone from his first term in office?
We’re asking a variety of smart Southern Californians for their opinions and to tell us one goal they believe the President must accomplish in the four years to come.
Republican political and public policy strategist Arnold Steinberg says the top priorities for a second Obama administration should be boosting the economy, creating more jobs, and reducing the number of government rules and regulations that businesses must cope with. Plus, Steinberg says the President needs to be more pro-active when it comes to foreign policy.

Coming from the highest (or at least one of the highest) taxed state in the union (Hawaii), I agree with your "top priorities" for President Obama.
Hawaii's liberal political influence will eventually run the state broke. Hawaii's geography makes real estate expensive as it is, so we need all the business relief as we can. One of the locations of this Honolulu music school is around $3,000 / mo. alone! And it's in a historic part of town (not Waikiki / downtown Honolulu.
So, I welcome pro business polices but we won't get that from President Obama, unfortunately.
