Pico Iyer is in a class by himself, as a writer, a traveler, and a person. He’s a generous, kind man who has written his way around the globe.
Iyer stopped by KCRW as his new book launched a few weeks ago. It’s called The Man Within My Head and chronicles his obsession with author, Graham Greene. He’s never met Greene, but says, “We may have stronger relations with strangers we’ve never met, as I do with Graham Greene, than with the friends and family around us. I wrote this book, because I sense most people have people in their heads.” He also describes his relationship – in his head- with Leonard Cohen. Listen below.
