Traffic can mean so many things. People engaging in trade with each other. Trafficking goods, that’s good. Trafficking drugs, that’s bad. Human trafficking, my God, that’s horrible. Data traffic, that’s cool. Satellite traffic, network traffic, a very good thing. So much traffic, and we haven’t even mentioned cars or freeways.

The Situationist

The word traffic was used to describe moving goods and people. Unless you’re talking cybertalk, today traffic usually refers to a bunch of vehicles – all being stuck in between each other. All those mufflers spewing toxic gas at you, while keeping you from your life. Your destination. Making you late! Raising your blood presure, causing you stress, and anxiety. Some studies show it makes you fat and creates lost economic opportunities, environmental waste. Now traffic sucks! Today traffic is usually used as a noun. On the bright side, because traffic is a noun…we’ve got the internet and I’ve got a job! :)
