Road Closures and Parking for the West Hollywood Halloween Costume Carnival 2012

One of the world’s largest Halloween celebrations, the West Hollywood Halloween Costume Carnaval will be held from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. along Santa Monica Boulevard from Doheny Drive to La Cienega Boulevard.

We don’t need no stinking weekend to have fun!

The annual West Hollywood Halloween Costume Carnaval 2012 has arrived, and hundreds of thousands of people will come to have the time of their lives. Last year an estimated 500,000 people turned out for the party.

• The city has lifted all of the city’s permit parking restrictions from Wednesday, Oct. 31 at 11 a.m. until Thursday, Nov. 1 at 6 a.m.
  
• Meter parking will still be enforced = side streets will be jam packed.

Traffic will be affected by the crowds and street closures.

• La Peer Dr eastbound turn lane on to Santa Monica Blvd
• Almont Dr and La Peer Dr between Santa Monica and Melrose Ave

• Santa Monica Blvd between La Cienega and Holloway
• La Cienega Blvd bettween Sunset Blvd and Santa Monica Blvd (NB La Cienega remains open between Holloway and Sunset)
• Sunset Blvd turn lanes on to La Cienega Blvd
