The closures to vehicle and some pedestrian traffic are expected to be in effect in the late morning into mid-afternoon hours on Martin Luther King Boulevard, Vermont Avenue, Figueroa Street and Exposition Boulevard.

Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard between S. Figueroa St. and Vermont Ave. will be blocked  between 9:30am and 3:00pm tomorrow due to presidential visit …also, Vermont will be closed between MLK and Exposition and Figueroa between MLK and 39th. Exposition will close beginning at 11:25am from Vermont to Figueroa. Avoid the area if you can.

Metro Bus service will experience detours near USC-Coliseum area of downtown Los Angeles on Friday, October 22, due to Presidential visit

Metro Bus service will be impacted on Friday, October 22, around the USC-Coliseum area during the mid-morning hours due to President Barack Obama’s visit to Los Angeles. The Metro Bus lines most likely to be detoured will be lines 40, 42 and 740 on Martin Luther King Boulevard, 102 and 550 on Exposition Boulevard, 204 and 754 on Vermont Avenue and line 81 on Figueroa Street.
