Metro announces …

“Just in time for the busy holiday season, Metro will begin running more trains on three popular lines during the evening hours to help travelers get where they need to go easily and quickly.

Major improvement in Metro Rail night service that will make it easier for Angelenos, visitors and workers to enjoy many of Los Angeles County’s major entertainment, cultural and sporting venues as well as restaurants, hotels and shopping.  Many of these venues will be offering Metro riders discounts as a further incentive for taking public transit on top of the savings they will enjoy by not driving and having and parking fees.

Starting Sunday, Nov. 13, Metro’s busiest rail lines — the Metro subway and the Blue Line — will run trains every ten minutes between 6 p.m. and midnight. This will be nearly twice as many trains as usual.”
