LA Marathon 2013 “Stadium to the Sea” Road Closures with Links, Maps and Stats

The Los Angeles Marathon returns on Sunday, March 17 with the “Stadium to the Sea” course  from Downtown LA to Santa Monica.

 Timeline

12 Midnight – Finish line setup begins

2:00 AM – Course route taping begins

4:00 AM – Road Closure setup begins

6:55 AM – Wheelchairs start

7:00 AM – Hand cycles start

7:24 AM – Runners start

8:30 AM to 5:00 PM – Streets reopen by area

12 Midnight – Finish line area reopens

Several streets in Hollywood, including parts of Hollywood Blvd., Orange Dr., and Sunset Blvd., will be closed. 

 Towing zones will be posted up to 72 hours in advance; please follow posted restrictions.

La Brea Ave. Between Sunset Blvd. & Fountain
Vine between Sunset Blvd.& Fountain
Western Ave. between Sunset Blvd. & Fountain

Both sides of the street 1am to 4pm:

Orange Grove Ave. Between Sunset Blvd. & Delongpre Ave.

South side of Hollywood Blvd.

between Cahuenga Blvd. & Ivar.
