Metro Line 2/302 Detoured Due to Construction Work on I-405 Sepulveda Pass Widening Project
Sunset bus route detoured between Westwood and Brentwood
Metro Bus Line 2/302 (Sunset Boulevard) between Westwood and Brentwood has been detoured to avoid street closures resulting from I-405 Sepulveda Pass Widening project work.
Westbound buses leaving Westwood Village now turn north on Veteran Avenue, west on Sunset Boulevard and then return to their regular route.
Eastbound buses coming from Brentwood now turn left on Church Lane, right onto Sepulveda Boulevard, and left onto Montana and then continue on their regular route.
Detours to this line are expected for approximately one year.
Bus patrons traveling in this area should allow for extra time and may need to acquaint themselves with new stop locations. More information is available at www.metro.net.
The I-405 Sepulveda Pass Widening Project, scheduled for completion in 2013, will create a 10-mile carpool lane on the northbound I-405 between I-10 and U.S. 101 Freeways.
