When You Cut Me I Bleed Cars

.
I don’t know if you know this about me, it is kind of personal. Okay here goes…
My arteries are freeways, and when you cut me –  I bleed cars.
It’s true. Awkward yes, but now you know. Not only do I get to work at KCRW, which is the coolest radio station in the whole wide world, I also get to report on traffic and help you get home from work, and go out to play.

My philosophy is to not only inform but to entertain, and help minimize the mental anguish of losing …

From LAist…
Our state laws regarding cellphone use while at the wheel of our cars, and while we’re riding on two wheels, are staying status quo. Tuesday, Governor Jerry Brown vetoed State Bill 28, which would have seen fines for illegal cellphone use while driving doubled The bill also included new legislation that would have applied to bicyclists’ use of cellphones.

Talk to me Kajon

I love the people that listen to KCRW! Creative, talented and obviously very smart….
Meet Frank.*
If you don’t live in Los Angeles AND listen to KCRW, this song will likely mean nothing to you. But their traffic reporter has an unusual name that is just plain fun to say: Kajon Cermak (KAY-zhawn SER-mack). She comes on every day as I’m heading for the freeway with the traffic report that’s oh so critical to my quality of life, at least as far as commuting goes. Or if I’m riding my …
