People moving people, my mantra. I am anxious to explore and help with bus riding…yeah, I said it, it had to be said. I have heard it all before and probably used the same excuses – bet you have too – “…public transportation in LA? Don’t make me laugh”, “…buses and Los Angeles? NO WAY! It will take me at least 2 hours to get anywhere!” (As does the 405), blah blah blah…But guess what this lady did and does? She is an inspiration.
Last fall, I gave up my car for a bus pass. I try to read a book a week on the bus but mostly I just avoid eye contact with other passengers.
I once believed that wheels were an absolute must in LA but I’ve since learned otherwise. Don’t get me wrong, I still love cars–it’s just I love the dough I’ve saved much more. I read every.single.day.
Rosemary rocks. I think I found my new best friend, reading and transportation…this is my kind of girl!
