President Barack Obama is coming to town for a fundraiser.
It will take place tonight at George Clooney’s home in the Studio City area. Local access south of Ventura Blvd will be sealed off.
Expect closures and traffic jams on the canyon roads between Hollywood and the Valley.
It is also floating around that the President might take a helicopter from LAX into the San Fernando Valley, not using any streets on the west side. Now THAT would be fabulous….one can only hope.

Pre-construction work for the second phase of the Expo Line in the cities of Los Angeles and Santa Monica is on the move, so to speak.
Monday, May 14, through Friday, July 20, 2012 . No work will take place on weekends.
Traffic will be affected. Trucks used to haul away debris will occasionally interrupt traffic as they enter and exit the expo right-of-way (ROW); however, flagmen will be used to safely direct drivers to minimize traffic disruptions.
Access to businesses and residences will be maintained throughout all construction activities.
Please obey all posted parking restriction signs …
