KCRW Presents will lure you to Hollywood with Hermitude, Café Tacuba

Written by

It’s been a slow week in the Presents world. No new show confirmations to share with you, but there are a handful of shows (listed below) happening tonight and next week that you need to have on your social calendar.

I definitely recommend Hermitude for a fun Friday night out. I know Hollywood can be a test of patience when it comes to parking, but you will forget all about how long it took you to get there once you’re inside the Avalon. Here’s a Hermitude track Jason Bentley has been spinning on MBE:

Next week, Café Tacuba & Zoe will hit the Hollywood Palladium. These guys have great music versatility, from melodic ballads to ska/punk bangers that are always high on energy. They will bring a heavy dose of rock to your life this Thursday night. The first time I saw them perform live was 10 years ago at our Sounds Eclectic Evening at the Universal Amphitheatre (AKA The Gibson and now known as Harry Potter World). That was also my first “brush with music fame”: as I was standing to the side watching another act on stage, I ended up chatting with Ruben from the band! He was so nice and friendly; I’ll always remember our little tête-à-tête that evening.
