KCRW Presents predicts your weekend: RAC, Mr. Little Jeans

Written by

The week before Thanksgiving tends to be a quiet one over here in the KCRW music bungalow and this year is no different. No new Presents confirmations to share with you, but there are two KCRW Presents shows to remind you about…

So it’s Friday and you’ve earned a fun night out, but where should you go? You take yourself and your friends to Club Nokia to see RAC, Geographer, Big Data, Filous and Karl Kling. That’s a lot of music. You will not get bored. You will dance. You will have fun. Happiness guaranteed. Bonus! If you live near the Expo Line you can travel to L.A. Live and back avoiding $25 downtown parking lots. Here’s a video interlude to get you in the mood: RAC, “Tear You Down” feat. Alex Ebert.

Now it’s time to think about how you’ll close out this weekend, and that’s easy because Mr. Little Jeans is playing the El Rey Sunday night. Personally, I love going out on Sunday nights. Living on the Westside, I can get anywhere in the city in about 20 minutes. So yeah, I fully take advantage of that and so should you. Her new-ish track “Waking Up” has really grown on me:

That’s it for the month of November. See you in December.
