Avener: Artist You Should Know

Written by

I was listening to the French producer Tristan Casara, aka The Avener recently and was struck by his track “Fade Out Lines”.

Growing up in Nice, France, Tristan was never a stranger to music.

He began playing piano at the age of five. This incredibly early start was a sure sign of innate talent and commitment to his craft.

By age 15, Casara was developing his musical tastes and became very interested in electronic music, particularly Masters at Work, who influence his style to this day. A year later, Casara had purchased his own DJ equipment and was producing Deep House.

Since then, The Avener’s style has matured and evolved as he creates hybrids of music. He’s always enjoyed 60’s and 70’s acoustic music that can be heard in his blues-flavored sound.

Fade Out Lines” has been a worldwide success and he sought the talents of singers like Phoebe Killdeer and Ane Brun on his latest self-titled EP.

He clearly has a unique style, and I hope to see him get more recognition for his great talent.
