Mariachi El Bronx are back!
After returning to their punk rock roots as The Bronx last year, they’ll release a new album as their alter-ego on November 4.
The band recorded most of the album – “III” – over two weeks at a private countryside studio surrounded by woods (with no cell phone reception. The horror!)

Mariachi El Bronx recently opened FYF Fest and the sound of their horns was the first thing I heard as I walked into the venue.
I got that little skip in my heart of excitement, that feeling you get when you enter what is, essentially, a theme park for music lovers. They played the perfect first notes.
The power of their live show is palpable and the band will be kicking off a West Coast tour with a date at the El Rey on November 5.
