The array of artists that have performed in KCRW’s performance studio – from Tom Waits and Nina Simone to Arcade Fire and Adele – is truly mind boggling.
When artists walk into that space, something special happens. They’ll often throw in a new song or a cover or maybe just exceptional versions of the songs we already know and love.
There is no denying that live performance is the true test of any band.
