Bamboos 2013_B&W trio_0379_reduced
We’ve been big supporters of Aussie soul band The Bamboos over the years so they’re offering us a first look at their video for “Helpless Blues”, by far the poppiest song in their catalogue.

The nine-piece band has a dynamic live show so they captured it on film during shows at The Forum in Melbourne and Amplifier in Perth.

I think most of us have had the experience of waiting for someone to call and the “Helpless Blues” that comes with it.

It can be a torturous experience, but its singer Ella Thompson’s sassy moments that make this song irresistibly catchy.

She splits vocal duties with Kylie Auldist on “Fever in the Road”, The Bamboos’ 6th album which came out earlier this year.

P.S. In case their name does not sound familiar, you should know that they are the go-to band for “ tight and heavy vibes”, performing as the backing band forJoe Bataan (US), Eddie Floyd (US), Alice Russell (UK) and more!
