Sydney’s Tunnel Signs is the project of the unassuming yet truly talented Ash Moses.
Considering the DJ/Producer’s first EP (“Sun”) garnered support from James Murphy and a Daniel Avery remix right out of the gate should give you some sense of the potential we’re dealing with here.
He’s released a new New York City inspired EP on HAKT called “Dream City” as a testament to his love and fascination with a city that had only ever existed as a cinematic fiction until he visited and was seemingly weirded out and mesmerized even more by it.
Interestingly, (not to start another East Coast – West Coast beef) the EP feels like LA music to me. It’s night driving music. It’s 4:30am Saturday morning 2nd St Tunnel music.
