Anthony Valadez is one of the most prolific members of KCRW’s music staff when it comes to making his own music.
Following the release of last year’s full length “Just Visiting” and hot on the heels of a recent remix of Toro y Moi from his other project Los Girls, he has a new EP out. It’s a teaser to a full LP, called “In Search Of“, which is set for release on Plug Research in January 2014.
Check the EP’s title track, “Zack’s Thesis”, featuring MC Zack Sekoff, who was just 17 when this video was shot. Anthony calls him a “prodigy”.
The video was shot by Holly Gable-Port in Downtown LA somewhere close to the 6th Street bridge with a bunch of Anthony’s friends, including Novena Carmel and Itai Shapira (Rhye/ The Decoders)
