Last week, Michael Lee send me a link to a band called Splashh, describing their debut “Comfort” as a “very sun drenched sound that’s perfect for summer”.

The project is from Kiwi Sasha Carlson (guitar/singer) and Aussie Toto Vivian, who crafted their shoe-gazy poppy songs during a summer spent in Byron Bay. “Comfort” is out now in the U.S. via Brooklyn indie Kanine Records.
