Reggae Night at the Hollywood Bowl is Back!

The days are longer and the weather is hotter, people it’s Reggae time once again in Los Angeles!

It’s an honor being the annual host of Reggae Night at the Hollywood Bowl as part of KCRW’s World Festival, and this Sunday’s line-up is legendary.

Son of Robert Nesta Marley, DAMIAN “JR GONG” is the real deal. Everyone remembers the ubiquitously massive “Welcome To Jamrock“, but every piece of music he has touched is loaded with the urgency and intensity of a  well-executed bank robbery.

Joining Damian is his brother Stephen Marley, indeed the spitting image of his father, vocal-wise… and the Ghetto Youth’s Crew for added vibes indeed!

Also on the bill is the anthemic THIRD WORLD, one of the most highly distributed Reggae exports since the genre’s first introduction to the world market.

Editors Note: I was just informed that this show has sold out! Follow this link to find out about other World Festival shows this summer.
