You know when something is so beautiful, it brings tears to your eyes?
That is Dale Earnhardt Jr Jr’s version of “I Think of You” by Rodriguez. Before the documentary that brought him back into the limelight, the duo decided to cover the ballad by their fellow Detroit native and released it as part of a Record Store Day exclusive.
Rodriguez may have created a perfect love poem of a song but DEJJ did an incredible job of making it their own and retaining its delicate beauty.
Josh Epstein and Daniel Zott harmonize together so well and this performance is a perfect example. It just gives me chills in the best kind of way.
