Dom La Nena U.S. Radio Debut on KCRW — No Meu Pais

Written by

We agree that Paris is a Moveable Feast and, once you’ve visited, you take it with you everywhere you go. That’s the feeling I get when I hear the work of Brazilian artist Dom La Nena, a cellist who moved to Buenos Aires as a teenager to study her beloved instrument with her mentor and is now based in Paris.

This humble and shy young woman worked with iconic figures such as Jeanne Moreau and Jane Birkin on stage until she finally decided to write her own songs. Those songs are on her new album “Ela”.

Last week, this thoughtful artist made her U.S. radio debut on MBE. Now that I’ve seen her perform in our studios, I’m really looking forward to hearing more.
