DJ, Producer, and Label Owner Nickodemus knows how to throw a party.

He’s behind the legendary Turntables On The Hudson events in NYC and he’s bringing the party to Barcelona for the Turntables on Las Ramblas compilation.

Check out a track from the official release below and keep an eye on the Metropolis page, which will be updated later this week with featured a mixtape from Nickodemus himself!

Los Chicos Altos Vs Palo Q’Sea – Palenque Barcelona by WONDERWHEEL Recordings

The record release party for the album will be here in LA on March 8, with an event thrown by Subsuelo (feat. Nickodemus), a global bass crew that puts on a monthly party in Boyle Heights. Their own debut, which features a flamenco/electronic/cumbia/hip-hop fusion sound, is due out in May.

It was recorded in the East LA neighborhood and we’ve got our hands on a fantastic instrumental we can offer as a free download, “El Viejo Boombap”.

It features the scratching of DJ Ethos (Subsuelo resident, and DJ for Ana Tijoux/Los Rakas)
