Upcoming Live Performances on MORNING BECOMES ECLECTIC with host JASON BENTLEY

Wednesday, May 23, The story behind husband and wife duo Alaina Moore and Patrick Riley – better known as Tennis – has been compelling from the start. Their debut was fueled by an epic sailing trip and their second release is produced by The Black Keys Patrick Carney. We’ll catch up with this intrepid duo when they bring their band to Morning Becomes Eclectic in the 11 o’clock hour.

Thursday, May 24, We fell in love with New Zealand singer Kimbra when she joined Gotye on Morning Becomes Eclectic last year and we’re thrilled to bring her back to share songs off her solo album at 11:15am.

Tuesday, May 29, We’ll broadcast a live session with LA’s own Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros recorded in front of a live audience at Apogee’s Berkeley Street Studios. Hosted by Liza Richardson. we’ll literally get down with the gang as we hear a batch of new songs on the day of their album release. Join Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Wednesday, May 30, Ramona Gonzales, best known as Nite Jewel, stands out as a buzzworthy L.A. singer and composer. Her latest full length perfectly captures the lovelorn energy of the City of Angels. We’ll hear it on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am.

Wednesday, June 6, Theresa Andersson is a one woman band from New Orleans and she returns to Morning Becomes Eclectic with songs from her new release Street Parade at 11:15am.

Thursday, June 7, Toronto-based artist Bahamas caught the attention of Feist and Jack Johnson for his skillful guitar work and powerful songs. Bahamas will treat KCRW listeners to some of those tunes on Morning Becomes Eclectic at 11:15am before he heads out to Pasadena’s One Colorado Courtyard this weekend.
