Word of Whitney Houston’s passing spread quickly among the KCRW DJs, many of whom did tributes on their radio shows (including Chuck P and Marion Hodges) but DJ Jeremy Sole was inspired to take it a step further with a remix. He put this together in the early hours of the morning , saying it’s “how he processes emotion”, and the reaction was immediate.
“I’m moved that I woke up to so many people listening, downloading and sharing it.
I thought I’d make another version of what is, to me, her most timeless tune in regards to production style, so deejays can pay their respects from within the sensibilities of their current selections”.
