I missed Trentemøller’s LA show last week but everyone I know who was there was hugely impressed by the Danish electronic artist. He was considered a breakout artist of Coachella this year and recently announced a double disc set of his remixes – called “Remixed / Reworked” – which will be out on November 8 and features artists such as UNKLE, Depeche Mode, Modeselektor w/Thom Yorke, Efterklang, and Mew, among others.
The artist brought a full band into the studio for his KCRW debut, a perfect kick off to Halloween weekend.
We especially loved “…Even Though You’re With Another Girl”, with its haunting vocals, and the jam on “Gun Club”.
