Ryan Adams rewind!
Ryan performed an incredible set of music for us last week spanning his career which will air on Morning Becomes Eclectic on Friday, December 2.
To hold you over until it becomes available, we dug back into our 2007 session with Ryan to pull out this gem – a performance of “Come Pick Me Up”, off of “Heartbreaker”.
When I want to introduce someone to Ryan’s music, this is the song I always play them. To me, it’s a classic. And a great representation of his strikingly honest songwriting style.
Last night, Ryan performed as part of a Bob Mould tribute at the Walt Disney Concert Hall and word on the street is that he was the star of the night.
Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl, Spoon’s Britt Daniel, The Hold Steady’s Craig Finn, LA’s own No Age and Mould himself performed tracks from his solo albums and bands Husker Du and Sugar. Check out a highlight below from Mr. Adams.
