Lex Land’s new album “Were My Sweetheart To Go”. It’s the track “Oh My!” and it just reaches out and grabs you, then descends into a sweet sing song chorus complete with a chipper hand clap beat.

A California native, Lex was based in our fair town of Los Angeles before relocating to Austin, a move she credits with helping her blossom as an artist and adult. Lex’s career launched at age 19 and she continues to grow along with it.
Music Director Jason Bentley is a big fan, saying he likes that you can hear her operatic training, her focus before pursuing a life of pop.
“She’s a great songwriter. She makes herself very vulnerable and her lyrics are revealing about relationships and all those universal themes we love.”
He happened upon her at a small club show during SXSW a few years ago and was duly impressed.
“She really separates herself from the pack with her demeanor and her lyrics. She’s got attitude, she’s cool.”
