He was immediately smitten with her talent and before you know it, the high schooler had one of her songs in Shrek Forever After (which Chris was a music consultant for).

She is now celebrating the release of her album “Life in Letters” with a live performance at Bardot as part of Chris’ weekly residency “ School Night,” tonight, Monday, September 27. She has some special guests joining her on stage — including Aqualung, Landon Pigg and Lady Danville – and will be sharing the night with another songstress we love here at KCRW, A Fine Frenzy.

Door are at 9pm and it’s free with RSVP if you are 21+. ($10 at the door for 18+).
