KCRW to Air Exclusive Interview with David Lynch and Danger Mouse on July 13
Director David Lynch and Danger Mouse (aka Brian Burton) sat down with Music Director Jason Bentley to talk together for the first time about their collaboration on “Dark Night of the Soul.” Songs from this beautiful, haunting record – featuring a remarkable roll call of guests – were leaked in 2009 but never officially released. The album has become a tribute to co-writer Sparklehorse, the pseudonym of much-missed musician Mark Linkous. KCRW.com will stream the album in its entirety as part of our Album Preview series starting July 5 and we will air the interview on July 13.
