KCRW Presents: Winter Music in LA

Break out the bottle of Asti Spumante because we have two new shows to add to your cheery December calendar. It’s officially time to bundle up and balance your shopping holiday sprees with a little music. Your mind, heart, and wallet will all reap the rewards of a night out. Here are the shows we just added to our KCRW Presents calendar. Perhaps the making for a good Christmas/Hanukkah gift giving source.

Peter, Bjorn and John at the Teragram Ballroom on Saturday, December 8

Calvin Love at Desert Nights at the Standard Hollywood on Wednesday, December 12

Cautious Clay at the Troubadour on Wednesday, January 23

Cherry Glazerr at the Troubadour on Monday, March 11

Ladysmith Black Mambazo at The Regent on Friday, March 22

Massive Attack at The Palladium on Friday, March 29 through Sunday, March 31

KCRW DJ Valida has been hosting and booking acoustic concerts at the Standard Hollywood every Wednesday night for the past 8 years. She’s created a ‘Laurel Canyon in Hollywood’ vibe that showcases up and coming artists in an intimate setting. KCRW is happy to present a night with Calvin Love on December 12th and we highly recommend you come on out to this free night of music. Here’s his track “Wildflower”, that’s been getting some (ahem) love on Morning Becomes Eclectic

*If you want to know what other giveaways we have scheduled every day of the year, follow me on Twitter (@acherrymary) for daily updates. I’m fun.

And now your 15 day calendar of KCRW Presents events:
