World Festival Preview: Reggae Night

Written by

Is there a better venue in Los Angeles than the Hollywood Bowl? Don’t worry, I’ll answer that for you. No.

Every year since its inception almost 20 yrs ago, Reggae Night is THE best night in Los Angeles. The weather is always great, the crowd is so diverse, and everyone is always in such a good mood! This year, I suspect the mood will be even higher ;). So needless to say, I am beyond excited to host the third concert in our World Music Festival series this Sunday, July 1st.

Headlining the night, is the legend and king of ‘lovers rock’, Beres Hammond. This year’s lineup also includes Alpha Blondy all the way from the Ivory Coast. He’s often referred to as the Bob Marley of Africa and he puts on a hell of a show! Opening up the night is one of Jamaica’s rising stars and one of my personal favorites, Protoje. So make sure to show up early!

To help entice you a bit more, check out Protoje’s latest single “No Guarantee.” See you Sunday.
