KCRW Presents: Fall Shows! (ignore the Summer heat)

Written by

I’ve been wanting to share this list with you for weeks! It’s a special list of shows that KCRW has officially added to our “Presents” calendar and here it is:

JD McPherson and Nikki Lane at Pappy & Harriet’s on Thursday, October 12, 2017

10th Annual Desert Stars Festival with The Raveonettes, Psychic TV, Tijuana Panthers, Mild High Club and more at Pappy and Harriet’s on Friday, September 22 through Sunday, September 24, 2017

Tennis at The Fonda on Thursday, November 16, 2017

Michael Nau at the Moroccan Lounge on Tuesday, October 17, 2017

Pappy & Harriet’s in Pioneertown is a great place for BBQ, booze and live shows. Get out of town and make your way to the JD & Nikki show or go all out and spend a September weekend at the Desert Stars Festival.  It’s really not that far away (it takes me an hour to get to Hollywood from Santa Monica on a weeknight) and if you drove for 2 ½ hours you’d be in Pioneertown! You decide.

The Moroccan Lounge is set to open very soon and we are excited to present the Michael Nau show on October 17.  Then there’s Tennis at the Fonda which you either love or don’t love. I’m pretty sure you love ‘em like we do, so go check out their show too.

A 3 day holiday weekends means lighter giveaway schedules, but we still have a couple of ticket giveaways planned for you guys.  Let me point you in the direction of Pioneertown where Pappy & Harriet’s will be hosting the 10th annual Desert Stars Festival September 22-24. Anne Litt will be offering tickets to the festival this Saturday afternoon during her show. So if you like desert nights and music festivals, you’ll want to hang with Anne from 12pm to 3pm PT.

If you want to know what other giveaways we have scheduled every day of the year, follow me on Twitter (@acherrymary) for daily updates. I’m fun.

And now your 15 day music planner via our KCRW Presents show calendar:
