​​This week, Today’s Top Tune heads to NYC for the 18th annual Latin Alternative Music Conference (LAMC). Hispanic artists from around the world – including Peruvian-born rapper A.Chal — converge in the Big Apple to strut their stuff on numerous stages. Chile’s Mon Laferte, who enjoys an impressive six million viewers on YouTube, will be at Summerstage in Central Park, the same night as Puerto Rico’s ​ÌFÉ​. Making Los Angeles proud, Buyepongo performs an acoustic set.  Venezuela’s represented too, with two-time Latin Grammy winners La Vida Bohème closing out the festival. ​

​La Vida Bohème: Domingo (Sunday) from La Lucha (The Struggle)

La Lucha (The Struggle) is the latest album by two-time Latin Grammy winners La Vida Bohème.  After fleeing violence and poverty in their home town of Caracas, Venezuela, the quartet moved to Mexico City. Making a new life in a foreign country inspired them to write new songs. They opened their ears and hearts to new possibilities with inspired songs like “Domingo.”
