Video Premiere: Silver Rose – Noches

Written by

Today we bring you the video premiere of a stunning shoegaze/dream pop outfit called Silver Rose.

The band is based is Mexico City, but was born out of a transformative trip that front woman Carla Sariñana took to Los Angeles in 2015. She put this band together with a clear focus of paying tribute to her love of shoegaze bands of the past.

Sariñana is no stranger to music. She is also the bassist for femme rock quartet, Ruido Rosa. With Silver Rose, she has toned down the aggressive licks but I don’t see it alienating her original fan base. It’s sultry yet still feels kind of dangerous.

Noches apprears on Silver Rose’s self-titled debut and is a blissful guitar driven song that speaks of love and a longing for steamy nights.

You can catch Silver Rose this summer at Chicago’s Ruido Fest, July 6-10.
