This Week on Morning Becomes Eclectic

Written by

We have another exciting week of live music on Morning Becomes Eclectic, with Ryan Adams leading the way on Tuesday. The prolific singer/songwriter just released his new album, Prisoner, and we’ll get a solo set right out of the gates, prior to a world tour behind the record. Wednesday morning – you may not need to worry about coffee, as we’ll have hard-charging indie-rockers Cloud Nothings for you. Friday – happy hour starts @ 11:15am (PT) with Hot 8 Brass Band.

Ryan Adams recorded his 16th solo album, “Prisoner”, on the heels of his divorce. He channels heartbreak like no other and we’re happy to welcome him back for a live session.

Cloud Nothings started as a solo project from a teenage Dylan Baldi. Now, on the rock outfit’s 4th full length “Life Without Sound”, they’ve created an album full of nuanced guitar-driven pop.

For over 20 years, Hot 8 Brass Band has integrated hip-hop, jazz and funk with traditional New Orleans brass sounds. There’s no one quite like them and we’re thrilled to host their MBE debut.
