Did you over do it on Halloween? Me neither. That’s why I’m already thinking ahead to New Year’s Eve. KCRW is presenting the Prohibition NYE party at Union Station (on-sale tomorrow at 10am) and it’s going to be a great one: premium open bar, live jazz music, burlesque dancers, a DJ set by Le Youth and you in 1920s garb.

Another newly confirmed KCRW Presents show we’re looking forward to is Martin Courtney (of Real Estate) at the Echoplex January 18. Tickets are on sale tomorrow at 12pm. We’ve been spinning the single “Vestiges” on MBE and Anne Litt’s show, and Martin himself performed “Airport Bar” for us live:

If you missed out on buying tickets to see EL VY at the Troubadour this weekend, you can relive their MBE session here.

I also recommend checking out EL VY’s behind-the-scenes Facebook videos from their KCRW station visit. The Berninger brothers are funny!
