KCRW Presents update: Korey Dane & Jenny O. & Dia De Los Muertos

Have you heard? RAC’s November 20th KCRW Presents show has been moved to Club Nokia. If you bought tickets to the Shrine show, they’ll be OK for use at Club Nokia. It’s a “live” show, which means instruments and singers and fun stage lights. Definitely a good time party vibe if that’s what you’re looking for on Friday night.

Speaking of Fridays… Fridays are the best. And tomorrow night you belong in Santa Barbara. We’re presenting the Dia De Los Muertos party (it starts early, at 5 p.m.) with performances by Bomba Estereo, Kinky, La Santa Cecilia, Chicano Batman and more. This is going to be your best pre-Halloween night out.

Onto other news: we just confirmed a KCRW Presents show with Korey Dane & Jenny O. at Desert Nights (KCRW DJ Valida weekly hosted acoustic night) at the Standard Hollywood on November 18th. Korey recently signed with L.A. label Innovative Leisure (home of many rad bands you probably already love). Here’s “Jules Verne,” a song that’s been getting solid play for the past few weeks on Morning Becomes Eclectic.

Here’s your 10-day planner via our KCRW Presents show calendar:

Friday, October 30: Dia De Los Muertos with Bomba Estereo, Kinky, La Santa Cecilia, Chicano Batman and others at the Santa Barbara Bowl

Wednesday, November 4: of Montreal at the Regent Theatre

Saturday, November 7: El Vy (Matt Berninger from The National and Brent Knopf of Ramona Falls and Menomena) at the Troubadour – SOLD OUT!
